The werewolf, JERBEAUA, wins all of her bloody battles for over five centuries, but she is unprepared for what is to come. Her half-brother, the vampire RA’LIN, has opened a portal in the Fifth Plane—the Highest Level of Existence. With his progeny and eight terrible gods of the underworld assisting him, Ra’lin summons the oldest of all evil spirits—The Shinning One—from the abyss of the Fifth Plane. Ra'lin plans to dominate the earth at the right hand of The Shinning One, while the creatures of the first four planes face lives of subjugation and misery at his command. Jerbeaua and her closest friends (they call themselves, The Team), work fiercely to stop Ra'lin in his quest for godship. Unfortunately, the only way Jerbeaua can stop Ra'lin's terrifying scheme is to annihilate him. Thus, Jerbeaua faces her toughest choice. Should she use her power to redeem her brother, or use it to save the world? |

The
Origin of Jerbeaua
The Prophet,
Xavyor, pens the tale of the beautiful child born in 1480 AD.
Half Maasai, half Dutch, and no true identity.
Until the night of her 16th birthday, when she is
cursed with the disease of the lycanthrope.
Jerbeaua becomes the neophyte of the dhampire, Alek, and a
Bedojinn, who helps her adapt to her curse.
She travels the world, in search of her destiny, and falls in
love with a priestly Frenchman who is martyred for his loyalty.
Jerbeaua learns that a vampire has sired her brother, Ra'lin, a
Maasai warrior, and her most potent enemy.
Escorted by Alek, Narcissus the Troll, and the holy
werefox—Nogi, Jerbeaua begins the adventure of her life as she and her
mythological companions set out on a quest for the Urn of Orthus, which
contains the blood of the Greek dog-god Orthus of Geryon.
Jerbeaua must drink the blood from the urn, which will render her
immortal. Once immortal,
Jerbeaua must face her brother in battle.
Will she use her newfound power to destroy her brother, the evil
vampire Maasai? Or is blood
thicker than water and stronger than flesh?

Ceasiago is a name I made up based on the term “ceasg” which is one of the original terms for mer-persons. This is the third book in the continuing story of The Titans. Eventually, each Titan will be able to tell his/her own story.
I
dedicate this novel to Angélica Toscano, Juan Hernández,
Melquíades Medrano, and Juan
Carlos Medrano—who lost their lives on July 3, 2001, gunned down solely
because they were Latino. This novel is
also dedicated to all of the Latinos who died on September 11, 2001 in the
World Trade Center terrorist attack, who may not have been counted or
recognized. |

“I am what the Ammandites call a Bourkolakas—a dhampire.” XAVYOR Ross—the prophet and scribe of The Titans, has returned to the United States, but not for long. A strange blood borne illness has befallen Alek and thus the team is summoned to his castle in Transylvania to help him fight the disease, or hold his hand while he dies. Jerbeaua, the immortal werewolf, has given him some of her blood, but it works no magick. The powers of Burton, the Navajo Diyin Dine brings no hope, as the dhampire is one of the "cursed" of the earth (born of a mortal woman and vampire father) and not a gift of nature. No one, not even Ceasiago the merman, world renowned medical doctor, can determine the dhampire's fate. In the event of his demise, the only thing that will keep Alek's memory alive would be his biography. Thus, Xavyor, prophet and scribe of the Titans must pen Alex's tale as only the dhampire can tell it. Before it's too late...
